Francisco H\u00e9lio, conhecido como H\u00e9lio dos Terrenos, foi candidato a prefeito de Belo Jardim e durante o per\u00edodo eleitoral disse que sofreu uma tentativa de homic\u00eddio pr\u00f3ximo da sua resid\u00eancia, no dia 15 de setembro de 2016.<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: white; border: 0px; margin-bottom: 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify; vertical-align: baseline;\">\nO empres\u00e1rio prestou depoimento \u00e0 pol\u00edcia e disse que n\u00e3o estava sendo amea\u00e7ado, mas acreditava que o ato teria motiva\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas. Ap\u00f3s o trabalho realizado pela pol\u00edcia civil, a per\u00edcia constatou que a vers\u00e3o apresentada por Helio dos Terrenos demonstrou v\u00e1rias contradi\u00e7\u00f5es.
